Musique Sabot + BSCD81278 + (37:12) + 1CD + Studio Demos-Outtakes Atlantic Studios/The Record Plant, New York City, New York June 1977-April 1978 Sound: 4.0/13+ Performance: 5.1/13+ Overall: 3.7/14 1. The Fast Song (2:59) 2. Candy's Boy (4:48) 3. Streets Of Fire (3:49) 4. Badlands (4:14) 5. The Promise (5:24) 6. Talk To Me (3:58) 7. Get That Feeling (3:08) 8. Racing In The Street (6:17) - rehearsal 9. Bring On The Night (2:35) Notes: "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" studio sessions; CD has "Dr. Zoom" printed above the disc title Quality on this one is not the best - the tracks are from 12/8/77 according to the rear cover of the CD. This has been backed up by the release of some of the same tracks (in much better quality) on The Lost Master series. At the time of release, this was the only source for some of the versions, and as such was sought after.

Blauvelt, NY 08-10/74;
Tracks 5-6 & 9-11 "Born To Run" studio sessions, The Record Plant,
New York City, NY 03-07/75
It's possible that a counterfeit version of this CD was issued. The only
indications are that a different type of CD "blank" was used, the cover
art is not as clean (as if the original art was scanned), and some track
times are slightly different (which may indicate it may not be a digital
copy of the original).
This is essentially an updated release of the famous vinyl boot E TICKET
"E Ticket" with some additional tracks
- absolutely essential for any collection

This LP was released 4 seperate times with the same tracks but different covers, one featuring a boy with police (above right). At the time it was originally released, it was an essential purchase. Release 1, 2 & 3 on East Side Music. Two versions were numbered copies, the others are un-numbered - most have custom labels (some are blank white or black), and the labels on the 3rd release are modified. Recently seen a 4th version insert cover - same pressing plates for the vinyl. See also RESCUED which was a double set with one record the same as this and the other a copy of ROULETTE
