11.04.81 Zurich, Switzerland, intro to ´Independence Day´
´´I grew up in this....little town, was about 10,000 people, I guess....and....my father worked down at the local plastics´factory...and I used to, when I was a kid I used to go down and...he used to work the nightshift...and sometimes I´d go down there and bring, bring his lunch to him....and I´d watch him just moving stuff from one place to another...like, the noise so loud you couldn´t hear nothing, couldn´t say nothing to him ....and....I decided that if I was gonna....grow up and have to live like that way, that I´d die....and....he´d come home real early in the morning....and I´d see him again when I was off going to school....and it seems we never found the time ever sit down and talk about....´bout the things that when you´re 16 or 17 years old, you gotta talk to some-body about, it took us....it took us 30 years....just to be able to tell each other that we loved each other...and that´s not right, you know....so if you got any folks home.... don´t wait that long....”
