“I remember when I was living at home with my folks…it seemed like…it seemed like everybody was always…angry (?)…I remember my father, he´d sit in the kitchen at night…and he wouldn´t talk, he´d just sit there by himself, smoking a cigarette, drinking beer and…[the sound of a firework going off]…alright, if you brought fireworks and if you wanna throw ´em, you can come to the front of the stage, I´ll give you your money back, you can go out into the fucking parking lot (crowd cheers) you guys paid money to be here and you have the right to sit here and feel safe and (crowd cheers) if see anybody doing that shit or throwing that shit, tell somebody because I want them to get thrown the fuck out of here, alright? (crowd cheers)…and I remember at night I used to come home and I used to hate to go in and walk through the kitchen… because he´d always been sitting there all night and the only time he´d seem to wanna talk to me was after he´d been sitting in the dark, drinking too long…and it seemed that the one thing we´d always want to say to each other…through all the years we argued and all the times I went out of the house…never to come back… was we wanted to tell each other that we loved each other (crowd cheers) and if you´re young, that´s a hard thing to say to your folks…and sometimes it´s the only thing that you can say that´s gonna count and make a difference…and I wasn´t able to say that till I grew up to be almost as old as he was…when he lived back in town…so don´t be, don´t be afraid to say that stuff (chuckles)… (?)…”
