´´Thank you….I wanna thank you for coming out tonight....Buffalo,
Rochester, Niagara, wherever the hell you´re from (chuckles)...thank you
for coming out and being with us....on this lovely after-summer evening.....we´ve
only got six nights to rock now (chuckles) but this one was a great one, we
thank you, thanks, it was fabulous (?)...oh, we´ve got some friends of
ours from the Foodbank of Western New York in the house with us....last year
they distributed over 12 million pounds of food to over 500 soup kitchens and
pantries and shelters in four Western New York counties....yeah....they have
a program here, it´s specifically towards children....they feed over 1,400
kids each year and they´re out there doing a good work on the frontlines,
assisting the struggling citizens of Western New York, if you see them out there,
please give a hand to the Foodbank of Western New York....this is for them....”

´´Once again, thank you, thank you for coming out tonight....thank
you very much....this is where I make my little public service announcement,
uh....we get people of all different kinds of political beliefs coming to our
shows and that´s what we like ....we, uh, we welcome all....there´s
been a lot of questions raised recently about the forthrightness of the government,
as far as our entry into the war in Iraq, just wanna say that the playing with
the truth during wartime has been a part of both Democratic and Republican administrations
in the past, it´s always wrong when the lives of our sons and daughters
are on the line....and uh, I just think the question of whether we were misled
into the war isn´t a Liberal question or a Conservative question or wherever
you fall on, it´s an American one, protecting our democracy that we ask
our sons and daughters to die for is our sacred trust, as is demanding the truth
and accountability from our leaders, that´s our job as citizens so it´s
a good time to be vigilant out there.....may the truth will out....check out
the Al Franken book Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them....come on, Max....this
is ´Land of Hope and Dreams´…”
