´´I grew up in this small town, was about, oh, 10,000 people.....I lived in this two-family house on this main highway and uh....every night my father used to lock up the frontdoor so that me and my sister used to have to come in ´round the kitchen....ever since I was a little kid, he used to sit there (?) with the lights out, smoking a cigarette, drink beer (?).... my mother used to sit in the frontroom with just the tv on, watch tv all night....so if you came in around, if you came in about 10, 11 o´clock, it wasn´t too bad but....(?)....I would always hate going to that kitchen ´cause I knew that he´d be calling me in the dark, tell me to sit down with him.....start talking to.....(?)....first he´d start asking me how I was doing in school (?)....then he´d ask me where I was getting my money from, who I was going out with....(?)....pretty soon....pretty soon we´d be screaming at each other, my mother´d be running in from the frontroom, trying to keep us from fighting with each other....(?).... telling him how it was my life, I could do what I wanted to do.....´´
