NOTES:

Piste Disques - 1st edition 2000 copies (these had authentic PD skeleton labels) - Matrix CO 3182 A/F (square 5 figure numbering sicker)

Early 1st editions had a numbered sticker. Later editions had a number stamped on the cover in a printed square box (3 figures on square or rounded stickers). A later pressing went out with white sleeves instead of a black box and the printed square numbered insert. There are an awful lot of un-numbered copies out there as well. Also seen a versions with a white border round a cheap photocopied front cover with either black or brown card outers - some of these are on Blockhead records. One version of this has a square hand numbered sticker, some have stamped numbers, others are not numbered. Three different colour inserts are known - white, light blue and cream (yellow). Finally there was a version with a different insert altogether which had no number and some have TMOQ labels, the rest have blank labels (Matrix PDR 1A-1F)(inserts on these vary in size). Most releases apart from the originals have blank labels or simple numbered labels and are on black vinyl. Never seen any coloured vinyl copies yet.

Some copies have Matrix VR1/3.

Also seen pressings on GLC labels with Matrix Spring 1/2/3/4/5/6 or seperately SPRING A/B/C/D/E/F

Also seen pressing with custom "Lizard Lips" labels - Matrix VR 1-6

Recently seen 2LP versions with modified covers - on Blockhead record labels - probably repacks

Side 1: Badlands/Streets Of Fire/Spirit In The Night/Darkness On The Edge Of Town/Independence Day
Side 2: The Promised Land/Prove It All Night/Racing In The Street/Thunder Road
Side 3: Meeting Across The River/Jungleland/Kitty’s Back/Fire (cut)
Side 4: Candy’s Room/Because The Night/Point Blank/Not Fade Away/She’s The One
Side 5: Backstreets (with Sad Eyes)/Rosalita
Side 6: 4th Of July, Asbury Park/Born To Run/10th Avenue Freeze-Out/Devil With The Blue Dress Medly/Raise Your Hand

One of the commonest bootlegs because of the multiple represses (and one of the best from the vinyl era if you get a reasonable pressing) Often available at auction sites and record fairs.
